boogie

this is a quick revisit/update of a quick post i wrote for a blog awhile back.

i know nothing about photography (except what i like/don’t like), but black and white has this weird way of emphasizing or compounding a mood that i get from seeing a picture. take boogie for example. some of his images wouldn’t scare me or thrill me as much as they do, if they were in color.

either way, and more importantly — boogie used to be this up-and-coming ‘street’ photographer, and now he has photo essays online at time magazine, and has shot magazine spreads for prada.  coming up!

surprisingly, or not. his book its all good is one of the few photography books i own.
